Are there any Brackish starfish?
I have googled, but can't find any conclusive answers....and since the upset of her witnessing Youngfisher killing a cute 'ickle baby starfish.....she wants to know if there are any we can keep in our tanks.

None that are traded, no.

On the whole echinoderms need strictly marine conditions because they use seawater instead of blood to carry oxygen and other substances around their bodies. There are a very few that tolerate reduced salinity, for example in the Baltic Sea, but none that can be considered euryhaline in the same way as, say, brackish water crabs or snails.
