I don't know if this constitutes an emergency per se but this is the only logical place to put it. I have a 30 gallon tank with 0 PPM Amonia & Nitrites and less that 20 PPM Nitrates. The tank currently houses...
1 RTBS
1 peppered cory cat( I think it's technically a juli cory cat but that's what it was labeled at the LFS)
1 tiger barb
1 lemon tetra
1 neon tetra
1 albino cory cat
2 zebra danios

About three weeks ago a guppy started to show signs of a fungal infection (cotton mouth & cotton eye) it later died. It was never found just disappeared so I assume the other fish ate it. I did extensive cleaning and water changing in an effort to rid any remnants. I replaced the guppy with three varying types of tetras and one died the next day and was also eaten so I cleaned those remnants out. About a week ago the other guppy started to show some "general symptoms" (lethargy & loss of appetite) then it disappeared. I decided to do another extensive cleaning that included moving all decor and cleaning around those areas as best I could. When I moved the little castle out popped the newest dead guppy. Which gets me to now. The RTBS is showing some general symptoms ( lethargy, clamped fins, glancing) the albino cory is doing a little glancing, the tiger barb had a long stringy white poop and the neon tetra had a long stringy white poop.

What's happening?

P.S. I'm using an API water testing kit and I back up my tests with those little tab testers you just dip in and compare to the side of the bottle. Just to make sure I didn't screw up some part of the testing process.

I know that the white stringy poop is likely an internal parasite. I have no experience in treating the tank or the fish. Any advice on what might be the problem, any medications I should add to the tank etc...would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If your fish are still eating I would suggest soaking their food in garlic before feeding it to them. Garlic will kill parasites including worms and will not kill as overdosing a medication will. JBL gala flake food has garlic as part of the flake if you can get hold of it. I use seachem's garlic guard and soak blood worms and tetra/jbl tablets in it before feeding the fish.

Internal parasite signs are as follows.
Long stringy white poo.
Worms prutruding from the anus.
Being skinny, or bloated.
Inflamed red anus to enlarged.

Guppys are prone to camallanous worms they are red and sometimes you can see them prutruding from the anus.
I kept guppys three times all three times long stringy white poo.
I wormed them with flubenol but no longer on the market in the uk.

You can get internal parasite meds in the states.
