Morning all. I have been reading the Forums and getting tips on how to set up a new tank.
I have a 100l tank at the moment up and running with plastic plants in except for a Java Moss on a coconut hust
5X guppies 1 male 4 female
1x male dwarf gourami
10x Neons (blue and red ones. Not sure of the type though as they were given to me with the tank)
3x albino Algae eater
10000000000x snails (think they came from the pet shop that sold me the Java Moss ages ago)
2x assassin snails
I have just brought a larger tank.
200l (55gal)
Fluvat U4 Filter
1x Power GLO 30w light
1x Aqua GLO 30w Light
200w Heater
Its been cycling now for just over 2 weeks and i thought about moving the plastic plants over but then I though I want real plants and to make it as real as possible. So I need advice on how to do this and what I will need. I read people talk about Bogwood, The type of gravel etc. The gravel in my new tank is Large size and about 2 to 3 cm deep. (will i have to change this), Also people saying larger tanks need C02 equipment others says you don't. (confused I be) So I thought I would ask you informed lot that have a similar set up on what plants to use and the best colourful fish to place in it once the plants have bedded in..
