A New 30 Gallon

I have always had my tanks full with livebearers... but recently I decided that I want to broaden my horizons with other fish besides livebearers...

Any ideas of what types of fish I can put in the 30 gallon?

I want fairly stable fish to start with... maybe some sharks or angels....
I'm just looking for ideas... Thanks!

You could have angels how high is the tank?

Angels, Gouramis and Rams are all worth considering.


Rainbow fish are great fish too.

What about an Amazon biotope. Planted tank with Cardinal tetras, Hatchetfish, Pencil fish, Bristle-nose Plec, Otos and some sort of Apisto.

The tank is about 18 inches high.... is this a minimum for angels???

Yes that is a mininum. I think angels and harlequin rosoboras would be really nice. With some bogwood and a few low tech plants.
