On a smaller scale, bettas are a must-have.

my favourite are the white angel fish with black specals i also like PSEUDOMUGIL FURCATUS if you dont no what they look like just look them up on the google images ( the female ones look better)

Golden panchax are extremly kewl, mine used to leap out to grab food... tight lid needed though or you'll just be left with a dried up fish on ya floor, affraid quite hard to find link for pic try google also
