Right i think i've made a mistake, and to say i have many fish, tanks and tons of equipment i'm normally so carefull.

I went to a guys house to look at a pair of breeding rainbow cichlids. Beautiful fish although not actually rainbow looking.
In a small tank underneath he had a large group of mixed malawi cichlid babies. My partner really wanted them so we agreed to take them aswell.
He couldn't tell me what they were and although i have looked through every discription on here as babies they look completely diffrernt to most of the adult images.
So if anyone could give me some help on naming them so i can move them appropriatly into different tanks and allow for there full size.

I have roughly 65 babies and paid £50 for the lot including the adult rainbows, but i have no plans on keeping all 65 and will probably loose some on the way.

I've uploaded many images and some maybe the same but i tried to get as many incase some didn't show there full colour or shape.

Looks to me like some Melanochromis Auratus, Pseudotropheus socolofi, maybe also "There are two different varieties found, the most common Pseudotropheus Acei (Msuli), and the white tail Pseudotropheus Acei (Ngara)

I do not know much about africans, these were taken from searching the species guide we have, theres a member called Helter skelter, he seems to know abit about these guys...
