Ok I know this isn't the betta forum and everyone doesn't go nuts for piccy's

But I'm not trying to show off my photo talents, not even my aquascaping talents. Just thought I'd share some of my fun little miniatures. (My Honey Boy is strangly missing so maybe he was already a little ill. )

Here goes:

"So, Hey! We can swim with the new guys. We even look alike. I like our ventrals better than those barbell things though."

"Hey, Sparkles, What's with the fellows with the glowing eyes? They're not too freindly."

"Hey, I like the new green plants. They taste better when I nibble the food off them."

"You know those otos are really getting behind in cleanup."

Those are beautiful pictures! Do you mind if I ask a question about posting pictures? Everytime I try to attach one of mine it tells me my file is too large. Do you know how to make them small enough to post?

I love your aquascaping! What kind of gourami's are those? Honey?

Thanks :*)

Yes, 2 Honey females, also 4 sparkling gourami, 7 or 8 pygmy cories, 2 otos, and 7 diamond head neons. I am now on the lookout for the right 20 or 25 usg so I can add a cockatoo cichlid community, a new male Honey Boy, some more otos and maybe add or change to harlequins from the neons.

You see the Sparkling gourami and the cories swimming together in a couple of pics.. They all get along really well and many swim and play together.

I think lots of us use photobucket.com. You register for a free account. Then you upload your pics to photobucket. When the pic is uploaded, beneath it are 3 lines of photo code. The third one is [Image]. Have your reply forum page ready and open. Left click on the 3rd [Image] line, right click on copy. Go to your reply page, right click on paste at the line you want your pic.

It's a little hard to explain. There are some pinned topics in the photo forum that are really helpful. It takes forever. That's why I ended up leaving some over large photos. I just wore out.

Awww, great pictures! I love my Sparklers and Pygmys, and yeah, they do seem to swim a lot together. Though one of my Sparklers always excludes himself...maybe he's not popular. :p

The Honeys are very pretty too. Love the coloring.

Thanks, again :*)

So my sparklers are normal

The honeys like to swim in the bubble screen with the otos and the sparklers. Then they ride the current accross the front of the tank and go back for another go. They just have a gay time.

Yes, I enjoy the little tank and want to expand it a little.

The honeys are just the right touch.

I think this thread is a little tribute to my Honey Boy, who was the real inspiration for it. May he :rip:

as new as you are to taking pictures , you are new at , right ? :)

They look real good ..........fish look good as well .

Sorry about the Honey , I have 2 , 5 sparklers and 2 croakers ......

My sparklers spread out in my tank though , I'm lucky to see 2 together in one spot ...........

Thanks

Yeah there was never anything wrong with the camera. It was all me. I read the threads in the photo forum, Elisabeth gave me some pointers, when I posted my attempts at the first, I got some other pointers, too.

I actually posted some pics of my new bettas last weekend in the betta forum. As fast as that forum turns over they may be in they never to be seen again bin. I'll go bump them, if you want to see them. :shifty:

Wonderful pics. All your fish look great but those honeys have to be the most striking - lovely yellow color.

Thank you and the ladies thank you. They are lovely and lots of personality. They are now staring me down waiting for a late breakfast.

What I really want is a 20-30 usg Eclispe for the new tank, but I can't find one that's reasonable. There is a 29 usg Eclipse that I have seen one place for $180. My second choice is glass 30 usg cube. But again it's a bit high.

I saw an AllGlass cube for $140.

I ended up bringing home a 58 usg with a wood shaker stand for $345.

I am going to check a local huckster out today.

I haven't unloaded the new outfit. I assume that I can return it.

Any suggestions?

Found the right setup. Returned the PetSmart outfit.

But :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: The culumnaris has shown back up in the diamond heads. Poor little tank is in it's fifth medical treatment. Now the whole house is in quarantine. 9 tanks--over 200 usg are on medical treatment. Ughh!!!

Everything is getting dipped in clorine and boiled!!! :grr:
