So i let my boys who aren't near each other flare at the mirror for a few minutes, then i take the mirror away and feed them a few pellets. Kiet, however, is much more interested in the girl in the bowl near him and is mostly ignoring the "rival" at the opposite side of the tank. His response to the reflection is to wiggle a little, then blow bubbles into his buble nest. however, he doesn't seem to have this bubble nest thing down quite right yet. Sometimes he blows them properly, but mostly he's blowing the bubbles out of his gills

Haha, he's a player. I love to watch male bettas that dont know what they're doing when it comes to bubblenesting. I wonder if theres ever been any that dont eventually figure it out.
