Once upon a time there were two prawns, Joe and Christian.
They lived in the reef with their friends, but were far from happy - every day they were chased by the big bullying bass who tried to eat them.
One day the two friends were swimming along grumbling about the bass, when there was a cough behind them. They turned and saw a wise old cod, who had overheard their dilemma and offered a solution - he could turn them into bass.
Joe at once accepted, but when he saw his friend had become one of the enemy christian turned tail (literally) and fled.
No matter what joe did, christian refused to come anywhere near him on the grounds that he was now scared of joe.
Joe didn't like being a bass - there were bigger and more ferocious predators around the reef that preyed on bass, and none of joes old friends liked him anymore. He was lonely.
A few days later, as he was wandering the flats on the edge of the reef deep in sorrow, he came across the old cod.
After pleading with the wizened fish for a while the cod agreed to turn joe back into a prawn. The first thing the prawn did was to race back to his friend christians house to see his old mate. But when he knocked on the door and said who it was christian refused him entry "go away, your a big horrible bass and you'll only eat me!"
Joes reply was "No, no its ok, i've found Cod, Im a prawn again Christian!"
