A Leech :(

this morning i found a leech in my tank, i got it on a medicine spoon and removed it. it was about a cm long maybe 2cm when stretched out, it freaked me a bit i dont like them too much. i cant see anymore in there but they could be anywhere i spose. should i do anything about it? a couple of days ago my other half dumped a whole bag of bloodworm in. could it have come in that bag?

Yes, it probably did come in with the live food, which is why it is usually a better idea to feed frozen live foods when possible, or maybe even frozen live foods of marine origin (just make sure that it's one of the ones which are ok for freshwater fish.. not all are!).
