A Leak?

My fishies in a plastic drawer box lol:

Got the heater in, and thermometer to monitor temperature, also have my filter in place but low flow rate as to not push the fishies around.

I think this will be okay!?

Just waiting for my tank to dry, be a while. Then i can add my background, seal the trim to the tank if thats alright, and reinforce the current seal from the outside (not sure i had a leak but better safe than sorry).

I've got seven 20 gallon tanks running atm, unless they are totally sealed they will lose a gallon or two weekly due to evaporation. Put the tank on several layers of newspaper, fill 1/3 of the way, and wait several hours. If the paper is wet you've narrowed it down to the bottom seam, or sides 1/3 or less of the way up. If the paper is dry, fill it another third, and wait a while. this narrows it down to the bottom or middle third. If it's still dry, top it off, wait again, and check once again.

The paper helps to narrow down a bottom seam area, this is what I do with used tanks in questionable condition. Nice drawer btw, excellent use of resources.

Yeah haha.

Good idea. Like i said i dont think its a leak, simply because of the drop in water level - if id lost that much water to a leak, itd be all over my desk, as it turns out it probably wasnt anymore than a shot glass filled with water.

My tubes are very scruffy, ionly had the tank 4/5 weeks.
