There are more impressive shrimp tanks out there but tonight I looked in and almost all of my shrimp babies were crowded in one spot so I took some photos with a galaxy phone instead of my camera and wow who knew! It looks like a herd!

Nice pics indeed.

I have a Galaxy as well and have stopped using my actual camera because it takes better video and photos. The only time I use the camera now is for underwater shots (it's waterproof and the camera isn't).

Nice shrimp...they look like mine!

How many pixels on your camera phone?

Great pics :)

Love your shrimps! They look awesome! What kind are they?

they are red cherry shrimp. I can't wait till the babies are all adults!

I use my Samsung Galaxy S3 for all my pictures too - works a dream!

Will need to get yourself a Galaxy S4 Active then wont you?

I have the S3 too, almost the best phone I have ever had: reading the AMOLED screen in sunlight is really hard. To make the Active waterproof though they dropped the AMOLED and went just LED.

I must agree as well though I tend to use my S3 however, my "easy" camera is a superzoom bridge camera, so its not really easy or discreet for carrying around. Apart from that I am picking up a Nikkon SLR which is a film based SLR and usually has a very large telescope attached to it. Great if I want a photo of my fish from the neighbours house.

Makes me made cause the camera I have cost 300 bucks and (at the time I bought it) top of the line for the price. But I can't seem to get great pics of my fish with it. BUt I am not that great a photog either. But I will definitely use the S3 from now on.

That was one of the main purposes I bought the bridge: superb for outdoors and full aperture/exposure/shutter speed with the flash off, getting better pics of the fish as a result.
