Sorry if all these questions have been gone over before but I need all the answers in one spot so I can look back and have all the information I need. I have a 20 gallon tank with 1.5wpg. I just bought two bunches of java moss each the size of a golfball. I will be using plant fertilizer and light. Im going to try to grow a good amount without co2. My questions are:
-How much roughly will I be able to grow with just light and fertilizer?
-I read about using the hairnet and laying it on a rock or bogwood. What all is involved to get the moss to spread out to other rocks to form a cover?
-Also will I need to trim or cut it back or will it grow fine without trimming?
-I have a powerhead with the air tube hooked up blowing bubbles into the tank. My friend told me that if I get enough plants that I wont need to add oxygen. Is this true and how will I know the right amount of oxygen to match the amount of plants in the tank.
Thanks for any replies or comments left. If you have any other information to add please feel free Id like to know as much as possible about the plant to make sure it thrives in my tank.
