My on going fight to take decent fish pictures forced me to do a thing that most men will never do in their life, read the manual for something.!

So I played about with the settings and took some fairly decent pics, still not brilliant but im getting there. Will be getting a new (better) camera soon as well which im sure will help.

Anyway just thought I would share them:

Stunning, adore your clown fish

Gorgeous! Makes me more intent on the possibility of taking up the challenge of a marine tank in a year or two`s time :good: :good:

Have to say that this photo looks to be the clearest of them all, it`s lovely:

Great pictures :good:

I have to admit I have picked up a manual or two in my time I'm not proud of myself  strangely I have discovered it helps from time to time what's that all about :fun:

Thanks all, my firend is lending me his Canon EOS600 today for me to play about with so will post some more pics tomorrow. If it takes better pictures than my current camera (which isnt hard) I may feel a purchase coming on

The Canon EOS range is great. I have a 50D and it takes great pics of my fish. There are some very simple instuctions on the net for taking fish/tank shots which help with choosing the correct settings. Enjoy!

Thanks I did read some articles but to be honest they are wasted on my little digi cam, just been playing about with the EOS at work and the picture quality is amazing can't wait to see what sort of fish pics I can get.

I feel an impulse buy coming on.
