I have found it similar to Java moss, but prettier. It's as easy to grow as Java.

I love Christmas moss! It's so pretty! That big chunk of moss in my tank is Christmas moss. My weeping moss has started looking very green (which I'm dead chuffed about seeing as it spent about 3 days down the side of the sofa lol) but yours is doing really well! It'll look great once it gets a bit longer and starts to weep the crypts look much better in a bunch too it looks great!

And sods law that you give the hrps a nice rock to spawn on and they spawn under the filter

Yeah I know, silly billy's! The slate was 'strategically' placed for them and they chose the filter nevermind, should be wrigglers when we get home tomorrow.

The weeping moss is excellent, really doing well for some reason.

Thankyou! I'm glad I did it now. Its only one I picked up on my travels then just cut it to size, wedged it in place and added some moss to it. I think more people should do tbh.

How big're your hrp babies now then? They look about an inch in the pic? How fast are they growing?

I'd say just over an inch now for the biggest, 1 has developed some amazing spangles on the face and gill plates.

Cool... are they quite placid at the moment? No bickering? If I took a couple it'd have to be next week (Thurs 1st), or I have no idea when the next opportunity might be.
