Ive got my tank in position, filled with water which i have treated with some dechlorinator stuff from the LFS.

Firstly how come the tank is full of bubbles sticking to the glass? I presume these will eventually go.

Secondly.. What should i do now? Ive bought some bog wood and ive ordered some plants but neither have arrived yet.
So should i just leave it to get a good constant temperature with the filters working through and then bang the plants in??

Thirdly.. What test kits for the water do people mainly use? There were some cheap ones that were like a stick that did all the tests and then ones which cost about £10 which did each specific thing seperatly. Is there anywhere online that does an half decent kit?

This is what it looks like at the min haha. 102 litres of nothing.

That's just excess gas from the tap water, a combination of Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen, they will disappear within a few days.

I'd recommend Saliferts, I've found them to be more accurate than the API kits.
