7) where's the best place to buy red breast acara ?
8) whats the a good large tetra ?

these questions are forr diffrent tanks around the house but instread of opening eight new threads i might as well ask them all at once

1) There aren't any, Fish depend on so many things that pointing a finger to a single fish and saying "He won't die in any tank" just wouldn't happen.
2) There's a few fish, I mean a lot of fish will be insanely quick if scared/Being chased/etc. Take my angel, if anything scares him he'll be at the other side of the side in a blink. It's crazy how fast fish can be, So take your pick. Overall I think you mean what fish is the most active (IE Moving a lot) but again there's tons of fish that are like this, Just gotta take a look and say "I like this one or that one" :)
3) I've never owned a jewel Cichlid so am afraid am useless at this question.
4) Shrimp are very good for cleaning the bottom of the tank, Although the bigger the tank the smaller they seem. Depending on your tank size I'd suggest corys? There insanely good for cleaning the bottom of the tank.
5) Diatom algae am fairly sure is due to ammonia, Have you tested your tanks water stats?
6) Having a good tank, Lots of hiding spaces, Clean water, Good flow, some plants, good tank mates etc.
7) Not entirely sure on that one, Could call up a few LFS and asked to order?
8) I own Emperor Tetras, Some of the biggest tetras you can buy. These guys are really pretty and quite big for the common tetras, Just make sure these guys can be quite a annoy bunch. Need a lot more females than males to keep things under control.
