This forum is Bad Bad bad!!!

I started out wanting a normal, nice little fish tank in the living room,

Now...I want a Mudskipper, a redtailed Catfish, I can't get enough of those dwarf puffers, I need at least another 4 tanks, Sharks aren't that bad when you read up about them really...

My 8 year old son is filthy, but has gained alot of knowledge in the Guppy area...

HELP!

I must have spent at least 3 hours going through the 'photo's of your tanks in Situ' thread, and im only on page 7!

I've not fed my Neopets for days :look:

I warn everyone about the MTS - it tends to creep up on you very quickly. It is also highly infectious.

Mudskippers are very cool, but need more land than water in their tanks so many people find them fascinating. The red tailed catfish (RTC) get very, very big and you would need a massive tank for them. There's a profile in the catfish section of the fish index. I would dearly love one too, along with a tiger shovelnose (TSN) but haven't got permission from my hubby for such large tanks.

Anyhow,

to the forum and try to keep you MTS under control for a while - give your family a chance to slowly get used to having to fight for your attention all the time!

My family are used to having to share me, with a rat, 3 degu's and Rupert (see avi) I amusually up to my elbows in sawdust, water or...well... anyhow..

I have a 3 foot vivarium coming tomorrow, I haven't decided yet what I want in it though, maybe I could keep mudskipper in there, make half of it into a pond type situ?

I know about the RTC

but I can dream can't I

I'll be getting a catfish once my tank is settled in, I adore them.

to TFF Neon_momma ! Yep, exactly the same thing happened to me ! For years I've been absolutely content with what I found in the shops, but now that I know better, I'm "hunting down" all these lovely weird and wonderful fish
