Hey, I am new to this forum and had a few questions about my chiclids. I have had them for over a year but i have no clue what type of chiclids they are! Sounds weird I know. If you could take a look at the pics and maybe give me a hand in telling me what they are it would be much appreciated. I was also thinking of putting other fish in the tank with them but i was not sure if i could because of the aggressiveness of the chiclids.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum! The link's you provided don't work. So, I am afraid we wont be able to identify them for you. If you would like, you can copy and paste the IMG code on here, and it will show up as a picture. If you are unable to do that, you might want to try and describe them for us.

Sorry about the links, here are the pics. Thanks.

No reply yet? :( Anyone care to help me please

Top fish looks like an Acei Ngara - does it have a white tail?
Bottom fish is a Melanochromis interruptus
The fish in the bottom pic - it is hard to tell from the pic....is it pure white, if so then I would guess at an Albino Socolofi although it does not look to have red eyes. Probably need a better pic to have a real go at this one.

http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/category.php?cat=2 - this is a link to some profiles, a bit out of date but still a very useful resource.

Hope this helps a bit.

Top fish is black and blue stripes with black tail with white spots middle fish is all black with blue on all the ends of his fins and the bottom fish is light blue not white and white spots on the tail. I know the spots on the tails mean they are male. Hopefully that will help with identifying them. Thanks

Actually the spots on their anal fins don't necessarily denote sex as both males and females can have them. The last one is a Metriaclima callainos, I agree that the blue w/black stripes is a Melanochromis interruptus, I don't think the darkest one is an acei, the face isn't quite right, I'm thinking it may be one of the Cynotilapia variants perhaps Cynotilapia sp. "Black Dorsal" .
