I do hope that they survived (both family and friends) this terrible event. I like many in the UK thought OH! it's just another hurricane, they get them all the time in the states. But watching as things unfolded (on SKY News) it appeared to be much, much worse.
Coupled with the problems of shooting and lootings only served to make matters worse.
I offer my heartfelt condolences to the people of New Orleans and surrounding areas who have lost everything they ever owned. I know that the members of this forum will do likewise, from wherever in the world they may be.
