So one of the staff at my high school heard that I draw (or like to anyway)..so she asked me to draw one for her...A portrait of her dad (on his graduation day) for his 70th birthday...so here it is

It is charcoal. Took me maybe a day or two on and off

Please let me know what you think! And please be harsh! I've never taken an art class so I would really like some advice! Thank you!

I can't make any criticism without seeing the original you worked from

I'd like to point out that for real artists with inborn talent, most art classes aren't that useful. They're more for people who want to be able to draw or paint, but don't know how. You can taught to be proficient, but real artistry is something you're either born with or without, IMO!

Life drawing classes are always useful though
