A Cyclists Moan.

I don't usually moan too much about stuff, but a few weeks ago, in the mini "monsoon" that we had, I was cycling to work at 9.30pm, couldn't see a thing because of the rain, and my light died. We have a lovely bit of cycle path thast is really steep, anyway I was happily flying down there, when right at the bottom, some cretin had thoughtfully left a shopping trolley lying on its side!
Luckily I saw it about 1/2 a second before impact, and made my way down the bank in2 the playing field (and promptly fell off).
What kind of idiot brings a trolley a mile and a half away from the shop, just to do that?
Anyway, I was going the same route at the same time last night, and I'm ashamed to say that I got off and walked down the hill,instead of enjoying the ride.
I'm not sure what bothers me more, the prat with the trolley, or the fact I'm allowing them to spoil my fun.
Grrrr.

awww love that's rubbish. I'm getting increasingly peeved at idiots since i've started cycling.

i no i shouldnt laugh but it is quite funny,mostly bcoz i no what u mean i live in watford and local rivers arnt complete without an ornamental trolley dumped in them, they end up in the weirdest places and they have little signs with things like, if im not at tesco im lost ring this number.
