A Couple Questions On Firemouths

2. How old/long do firemouths have to be to sex them?

instead of sexing them just get like 6 and wait for them to pair

4 should be ok. males have elongated dorsal and anal fins and are a bit bigger(same as a lot of cichlids)
females can flap there gills

this is a female<notice the breeding tube at base(fat n stumpy

male<notice breeding tube(long n thin white in colour)

fins on male are elongated also male breeding tube is long n thin were females is short n fat
