if i could have a whole tank full i would, rams are so cool.

The golds come up to the tank whenever i go near,they are so nosey,lol

as soon as i get the camera out though 1 of them takes cover,hehehe

recently im doing 2 or 3 a week,thats in my roma 125L tank, and thats roughly about 20-25% each change

but im setting up my juwel rio 400L at the moment and 2 or 3 25% changes would just be to much time,so i will probaly go for a weekly 50% or 2 20/25%'s

why do you ask?

Because Rams like good water quality, and you'll generally only see their best colouration if the water quality is kept tip top.

If you can manage twice weekly 25% changes you should get that.

40% every two weeks!? Not often enough for even hardy fish. You should be doing at least a 25-30% water change weekly.

Someone on here has recently recc a pair of Rams to put in my tank. These pics are fintastic and have nudged me well on the way to adding them to the potential stocking list.

Those colours are amazing, do they spend much time out swimming? i am trying to plan some caves and tunnels would they appreciate those?

oh yes,they are out and about all the time,especialy when i go up to the tank!!

My german blues chase each other through my little tunnels so that would be good idea.

1 of them also loves to swim through the bubbles from my airstone,lol

the first time i had my pair i thought they were the best fish i ever had, they are awesome, but mine didnt survive long
