A Couple Of Sparkling Gourami Questions

Hi,
I was thinking of get a trio of sparkling Gouramis to go in my aquarium, but will they be compatible my Rams? Also what part of the tank do they live in, top, middle or bottom?

when i had some in my 55 gal they stayed in the top- middle area, but when i move them to a 20 gal. they swim all over . So it might matter the size of the tank.

They should be fine with your rams as long as the rams you have are not overly-aggressive when breeding and provided your tank is large enough to accomodate everyone. Mikaila31 is right about where they spend most time depengin largely on tank size. This applies more or less to any fish but with sparklers, they'll normaly spend more time in the middle except when kept in a smaller tank as, in the smaller volume, the distinction between the different levels is less apparent.
