A Couple Of Odd Ones

hi just been watching a program about jelly fish and would like to know if anyone has any information about keeping jellyfish in an aquarium or if its posable.

also has any one ever put a mini tv scree (2-3 inches) in a fish tank just thought it might be a cool addition.

Not sure about the mini tv screen, guessing it would depend on if you could find a 100% waterproof one that wouldnt fry your fish.

Haven't ever seen jellyfish kept in a home tank before but after quick search on google it seems you would need a specific tank and equipment, for example a standard filter is likely to suck up and liquify a jellyfish! Also you would need a refridgeration unit.

There would be quite a lot of things to be taken into consideration I would think though I must admit they do look stunning. Although many website advise only public aquariums and people with advanced knowledge try keep these as I think they are far harder to keep than any freshwater/marine fish you will find.

ok maybe it would be nice in a library or bedroom for a calming sense but IMO illdo that last hahaha



and why put a TV if the fish are the actual attraction lol

Allow me to state clearly I'm no expert I have never personally kept jellyfish or have any real experience with them. But being an ocean lover I often work at my local aquarium and the jellyfish there have to be kept in a special tank with special flow to maintain their health. I have only ever seen very similar set ups on television also. So I'm going to draw to conclusions and saying that any normal none custom/super expensive big set ups will not work. Along with I've never seen a jellyfish for sale.

they actually aren't mindless they have 4 brains! (thats more than us humans ha) they also have a large array of eyes so can interact with stuff depending on colour and other features. also the tv would be for the fish to watch not for me lol.

and i dont think fish would like tv, theyllfight over the remote
it could be an interesting experiment to see if they react or not.
