A Bit Of Advice Cos Im A Little Confused

Hi
I have a tropiquarium 55 set up with a 15w 46cm Aqua Glo Bulb. Is this ok for some plants not sure how the watts pre gallon works as i never have seen a 100 w tube? oh the tank is a 10 gallon one

If you have 15w over a 10UKg or 12USg (you need USg to work out WPG) then you've got 1.25WPG this is low light, so you'd probably be able to grow the less demanding species like java fern, anubias, lugwigia, egeria densa. This is the same as I have in my middle tank, and java fern and anubias grow ok in there, albeit very slowly.

Thanks sam i was a little worried as i planted some amazon sword about a month ago and it seems to be nice and healthy just reading through the forum and seen whats involved in keeping plants and now im waiting for them to srival and die on me lol

You should be fine with amazon sword, it gets on fine in low light tanks..
