So Cause i want an arow, Dad relented and said to look for a new tank, so after a week of searching on line. was almost giving up when i spotted a lovely 4 foot tank with cabinet, external, luminaire in coventry less than 10 mins from me.

So 3-4 hours of swapping tanks around i got a basic scape done.
Its still cloudy but you get the idea.

Full Length German Luminaire. forgot the name. 1 white and 1blue tube
Filter is an Eheim External Pro. Ceramic Rings, Coarse/Fien Faom and Poly Wool.

Plus need to install Moonlighs and Spot Lights for specifi areas of the tank.

Made some reflectors from pepsi bottles and tin foil.

Plants are all from my various tanks.
the white grid is a Java Moss Wall, i am trying. If it grows then will make a bigger one to fill the whole back of the tank.

In the top right corner, i have put the twigs and will tie java moss to them.

Now i can use my Co2 kit an d have really good plants.

Yep.

I did make another canister filter as a back up with 4042 LPH filtration capability. Using 3 Chambers Rings, Foam, Poly Wool. Used a Rose Pot perfect for making a cnister from. but have not taken pix of it.

looks good :good:
however, i think the piece of bogwood in the middle/right that sticks up looks a lil outa place..:)

Shouldn't waste a big piece of bogwood IMO, try putting some plants around it to soften it up. If it still looks nasty then try repositioning it. If it still looks nasty after that, then it may have to go. Can you give a close-up of the offending piece? It may just have to be repositioned.

Didn't you have a really small tank?

Added Co2 a few more plants. More arriving from Aquatic Magic and Mosymo next week.

World of Water have a fish sale on ATM All Tetras And Rasboras 4 for 5 pound.
bidding on some new bogwood from someone new on fleabay. His prices are cheaper than going to the LFS and Looking around in the BogWood Bins.

This is how it looks in the Evening when main lights are off and just using the aquaglow tube from the 10g

Chocolate Gourami - 1 of them has been eating the ramshorns and has managed to get 1 stuck on its lip. Will have to remove it, if it hasn't come off in the morning

Still Looks Very Empty Fish Wise. Would Red Line Torpedo Be ok with my Fish, as they are on Sale ATM.

We had 2 power cuts during the night.
Don't see any casualties, but to be safe have added another 450LPH Filtration to the tank this morning.
Using the Modded Pond Pumps i had made up for this tank.

I got 2 Plastic 1 Pint Cups made holes in the bases of both.
Added Coarse Foam and Poly Wool.
Attached them to the Filter with Grip Ties and Viola.
Made an Outlet with Flow Tap from1/2 inch Clear Tubing and Added a Small Lilly to the Outlet, so i can direct the flow.
Might leave it in as it will be hidden by the bogwood i ordered.

The red lines get quite big, wondering if the embers could become lunch? Lovely fish the red lines though, if my tank was big enough I would love some!

Right Decided on my Final Fish.
Threadfin Rainbows Nice big shoal, and as i know someone who sells them cheap, thinking about 20 -30 should look really nice.

Changed from Threadfins to Pearl Gourami, Picking them up in the morrow.

Also Thinking of planting up the shelf with creeping jenny.

Not much of an update.
Made the Luminaire and fitted new Tubes.
Added more plants received from TFF members :good:, and rearranged the bogwood a lttle
I have planted some creeping jenny in the shelves, and its spreading nicely in and out of the water.

Nice tank you got there, glad those plants went to good use, wish i had the space and money for a planted tank that size.
