8L Tank

Got a desk top tank 8l. any ideas? Was thinking a small reef?

Small reef would be very difficult due to the small volume, a fresh water shrimp tank would work well.

How about a nice breeding colony of Heterandria formosa? They are delightful in extremely small spaces like yours.

Thats tiny.
I think i passed that amount last time i visited the toilet.
Its going to be very hard keeping a marine reef in such a small tank, gonna be very hard to keep all the levels right, let alone the fact that you probably couldn't find a piece of live rock small enough to go inside the tank!
Maybe just keep a couple of shrimp in there, or a nano zoa garden, like so:

But again, it will be very hard maintaining a good steady balance in there.

Heh, I'd love one of these nanos but not quite brave enough yet - think it would be far too tempting for the LO to pull off my bedside table and onto the floor!

In a few years I'm hoping to have one and I think a shrimp only tank would be great

I work in a place I can get whatever size live rock I want but will maybe look at a shrimp tank.
