75watt Heater For A 10 Gallon Tank

all i can get is a 75watt heater for my 10 gallon at a low price would that be overkill on my fish?

I reckon its fine only a little more than youre supposed to have. If you go way over the top watts wise then the water near the heater heats up really quick and can create hot spots. This yo yos your temp. up and down which is stressful for your fish.

No, it should work. Do you have good flow in your tank? As long as water moves over it, it will be fine and will work better in extreme cases of external temperature changes.
