Hello all. I have my 75 gal. system set up and would like to know if I would have some more room to put a few more fish in with the ones I have now.
My filtration consist of 2x Aqua Clear 300's so this will help out a little with the pollutants from the fish. Am I looking at 2 or 3 more fish and what would be a good choice of fish?

Thank and peace.

75 gal.
2 x Archocentrus spinosissimus
1 x Firemouth Cichlid
1 x Oscar
1 x Common Pleco

Archocentrus spinosissimus only hit 6" to my knowledge as well as firemouths so the oscar might chase/harm them when it gets big enough.
Is there any other cichlids you wouldnt mind getting?

It does not rely mater to me on what kind of cichlids I put in now. It would be nice to get little more color in the tank. My Oscar is the biggest one in the tank now, and there is no problem as of now. This may change later. I do change up the environment about every two or three weeks to help out with territory issues.

imo I would take the spinos out vip is right in that they hit a max size of 5-6 inches but they just arent' agressive enough to deal with a fire mouth and an oscar. they are an interesting speices to keep as they keep their fry in floating plants/plants near the surface of the water but again I don't think that they would be able to put up a good fight. and if the O gets a bug up his rear watch out!!!

hum, all the reading I have done and the talking to other pep's say that the oscar should not bother the other fish, the same with the fire mouth. I do not want to remove the spino's so I will remove the oscar and firemouth if I see some aggression starting up.

Back to stocking the system. what would then be good to put with the spino's as I will build around them?

possibly if you can get some of the Neetroplus species, or a cichlasoma species such as ciclasoma dimerus. there are also some dwarf pikes that would stick to the lower parts of the tanks.
