Fish Fanatic
hi, i have a 70g freshwater that i was thinking about converting into a biotope from central america (with german blue rams being the central fish). i also wanted to try and get plants from that area. (note: i have another tank set up for the current inhabitants
)
as ive been researching plants, im finding that i like plants that arent all from the region; after some more research into fish, there are more fish from out of the area that i think would be nice additions to the tank.
ive read that biotopes can be among the most relaxing and satisfying tanks to keep. will it make that big of a difference from picking and choosing fish that i like (that are compatible of course lol) over making a biotope, and having fish and plants that are found together naturally in the wild?
thanks for your input
