after accidently buying myself a betta and some shrimp for a little tank i aquired a month ago, my enthusiasm for the hobby re ignited.. below is the result :fun:
240l fishtank
fluval 407 filter (upgraded filter media to include addition 1kg of media)
300w heater (soon to be joined by another 300w heater)
fluval aquasky light (overkilll? yes, fun? hell yes)
big ass piece of wood
some plants, substrate, aquarium salt, general cure, plant fetaliser, a new hose, test kit, a powerhead, bubbler, 2 nets.. the list goes on.

below is about 2 hours of tank filling and plant arranging, the plants arnt in the final position yet but that'll com,e over the next week. sadly my little betta bubble filter is too small to donate media so the cycle starts now... time for a beer!

Haha, I deliberately don't add up how much I spend on this hobby! It's £30 here, another £20 there, and try not to add it all up mentally! But it's worth it ;)

Tank looks amazing! And such a great size, it was a good choice, so many more options. Enjoy that beer, you earned it!

I am looking for some stocking suggestions too, ive never had so much space before!

I must have Cory's though, they've always been a favourite
