the shark is already in the tank, so what fish should i put in the tanknoo the shark needs at least a 200litre tank for when they are adult because they are very aggressive, fighters are almost always better in a tank on their own of around 20 litres. kribs would be fine on their own in a 60litre tank in fact that would be a very nice sounding tank a 60 litre tank with 2 kribs in well decorated and planted.
what is in the tank at the moment ?
will these fish be ok in a 60 litre tank
Badis x5
Siamese fighter fish x1 male
kribensis x2
corys x5
Albino shark x1
will these fish mix togetherwill these fish be ok in a 60 litre tank
Badis x5
Siamese fighter fish x1 male
kribensis x2
corys x5
Albino shark x1
yes as these kinds are small but for the badis it will become a little bigger in the future.
Is there any small fish like oscar fish that would go in a 60 litre tankthe clown loach will deffinatly have to be rehomed as it needs to be in groups of three and they grow to about 12" i think the shark will as well as they are highly aggressive and will kill everything in the tank when mature. if the catfish is a cory dora it will be fine but i would get another 2-3 of the same ones.
why not try some type of dwarf cichlid in your tank as all the fish that are in there now minus the cory(if it is one) needs a much larger tank
would a few texas cichlids be ok in the 60l tanki think the closest thing to an oscar is gonna be some kind of dwarf cichlid either rams, apisto's or flag cichlids look them up on the fish index on this site but like you said you wanted kribs 2 of them would be fine in the tank
I like thinked skinned fish like oscars, from the cichlid fish, If i but a small cichlid for example the texas cichlid, would they not grow to the size of the tankthe biggest fish IMO for a 60l would be 3-4 inch, i currently have 2 tanks this size
one contains, neons, guppies and shrimp
the other will have hillstream loaches and white cloud mountain minnows
as for a texas cichlid, no they grow to 10 inch!
so what are the recommended fish to put in a 60l tankno, that is aload of rubbish to be honest with you, fishmay appear to stop growing visually, but all there internal organs continue to grow causeing the fish much pain and early death
