Evening Everyone, i have just started to rescape my 60 litre tank. Originally it had blue gravel and and sunken ship

This is the first time i have really tried to design a scape as a need some practice for when my new tank is cycled.

Tonight i have changed over to sand with a piece of Mopani wood with slate at the front edge and a few plants. I tried to raise up the right hand side to get a feeling of height.

The left hand side is empty at the moment but i am waiting of some hairgrass that i plan to grow as a carpet.

I like the over all shape of the scape, if it were me I'd shift it to the left a little to allow more plants behind the rocks and wood, you could even tie some Anubias or Microsorum to it.

Cheers, there is actually quite a bit of space behind the wood and i am waiting on a Hygrophila difformis to arrive as well as the hairgrass. So i will be adding the Hygrophila difformis where the swords are and move a few swords around.

I like the idea of anubias so i will add that to my next order :)

So far so good, all the fish seem happy with the changes made last night. They seem to like the open space :)

Have you added the plants yet? Looking forward to seeing it when it's completed. Don't know why, but i would have put that on the left hand side of the tank and the hair grass on the right hand side. No idea why though? I always seem to arrange my tanks from left to right. lol.

Still waiting on the delivery from green machine :(

As soon as they are in i will take some photos.
