So I bought a 60 gallon aquarium, fluval 305 external, and i'm still in the process of stocking. My plan is african fish only. I have this as my stcok atm. 6 congo tetra, 6 Petricola Synodontis, 1 Leopard Ctenopoma. I plan to add 4 african butterfly fish and either 1 ropefish or 1-2 senegal bichirs.

I was wondering if there was any cichlids or similair that i could put in, remember african fish only, as i want some more mid strata fish

A few options :) The common ones being Kribs, but there are also a few rarer species of Kribensis that are worth looking into but can be harder to find. You also get the African Butterfly Cichlid A.Thomasi (I think) Nannochromis Transvestitus might be an option in there but they might be a bit small actually... Or you could look at the Block Head Cichlids some of them are beautiful I really like the slender blockheads :)

Hate to recommend an other one to him but Nobody of the Goat is your man for this kind of tank :) Really his specialty!

Im not sure but I'm fairly certain that a rope fish needs a 75 gallon?

Thanks for the suggestions so far, better safe then sorry with the ropefish, and the filter is a fluval 405,  not 305 (if it matters XD)
