6 Dead Guppies In Under A Week

Hiya guys been told u guys are really good with your advice i'm in need of some help


i have
12 guppies mostly female
2 angle fish
1 mollie
2 dini teras
and a sucker

in the past week i have lost 6 guppies i have done a 25% water change and took some of the water into the pet shop he said that the water was ok but advised me to do a 25% water change and add some stress solution in but woke this morning to find 2 more dead what have i done wrong

How many gallons is the tank.

Buy some liquid test kits of your own as some lfs are not to be trusted.

Any symtoms to go on like these listed.
Laboured breathing or gasping at surface of tank.
Excess mucas on gills or body.
Flicking and rubbing.
Inflamed red gills, or bleeding looking gills.
Darting or erratic swimming.
Does the fish look skinny or bloated.
Do the fish look pale or darker in colour.
Do the fish act listless and lethagic.
Do the fish rest on plants or lean to oneside.
Can the fish maintain balance in water.
Any bleached out patches or fluffy cotton wool on the fish.
Check the fish anus to see if its enlarged or red and inflamed.
Any worms prutruding from the anus.
Do the fish belly look sunken in.
What does it look like when the fish go to the toilet.
Lost any fish to bent spines.
Are the fish eyes swelled, or popping out.
