Thats a very strange looking tank!

the tank is in my signature i ment to say and its also a little stretched because of resizing sorry

the Orientalis channa remain quite small, my breeding pair were about 3-4 inch each and did well in a 20g tank so I;m not sure if your 55g may be too big for just these fish. They;d enjoy it but would you and thats important as well

How about Channa Pulchra? they grow bigger and look ace as they get older and are easy enough to spawn as well. Due to this you should be able to get hold of some young from someone

They would fill the tank better and make a decent display for you. Infact if I had a spare tank of a similar size I;d go for these again

thanks a million im going for these guys =] what would u suggest as there diet ? oh and how many babyz a year ???? and one more do i gotta ask for breeding pair our just male and female?

thanks a million

Hello mate, nice looking tank, where in the world are you located? channa is a good choice, that size tank would fit a nice pair of channa ornatippinis, or as stated pulchra, they are very similar looking, good thing with these guys, heating is not needed as there sub-tropical, feeding, i feed mine chopped prawns, pellets and chopped white fish, dried meal worms, diet stends to almost all channa,
