55 Gallon Tank!

I don't know anything about those filters, but it looks like the XL model only pumps 300 gph. If your tank is 100 gallons you probably want a minimum of 400 gph, and some would even recommend even 500+.

As far as cleaning goes, you can use a mild bleach-water mixture (1 to 10 or 1 to 20) to scrub everything, then rinse very very well and allow it all to air dry.

I've got an extra filter that's about 125 that I can add to the tank.

For now, the stocking list is:
15x Neon/Cardinal Tetras
15x Cories
15x Emperor Tetras
1x Plec
2x Ram Cichlid
or
2x Peacock Cichlid

Still very undecided about the cichlids however.

Its a 55 gallon tank.48x13x20.
I'm actually very relieved hahah. Before finding this I was looking for a 50 gallon tank! I was very over whelmed with a 100 gallon. Now I feel like an idiot hahahah!

So I guess this limits my fish eh?
Could I cut all the numbers down to 10, and keep the cichlids and plec?

I feel so stupid hahaha. I should have known from looking at it! Hahahah

How does this sound as a stock list
10x Neon/Cardinal (depends on what I can get)
10x panda cory
10x Emperor Tetra
5x albino (I've got one albino right now and don't want her to be alone)
1x plec

I just need help on deciding whether or not to get
3 or 4x Apistogramma Agizzi (1 male, 2 or 3 female)
Rams, or a Peacock.

If the albinos are overstocking the tank, I can put them in a 10 gallon as oppossed to the 55.
