55 Gallon Rehoming

I have had a 55 gallon tank for a few months now. It has one oscar in it but the problem is, its really aggressive and i know i can't put anything else in because A: It would get bullied, and B: There wouldn't be enough room. I need some stocking suggestions because i plan on rehoming Oscar (my oscar fish ) I already have a planted tank and i love the look of it, but i was thinking how many dwarf puffers i could fit in there.... Any ideas?

I have to admit I dont think Dwarf Puffers are your best option, the general rule is 1 DP per 5 gallons though in well planeted situation you may be able to manage more - but why not go for a group of South American Puffers, true fresh water puffers that get to a reasonable size that you can have some carefully selected fish with They do best in groups but need to be fed masses and masses of snails to keep their beaks in good conditions.

yep, put a few in a small tank and pluck them out once a good population has built up
