I have had a 55 gallon tank for a few months now. It has one oscar in it but the problem is, its really aggressive and i know i can't put anything else in because A: It would get bullied, and B: There wouldn't be enough room. I need some stocking suggestions because i plan on rehoming Oscar (my oscar fish :)) I already have a planted tank and i love the look of it, but i was thinking how many dwarf puffers i could fit in there.... Any ideas?

I have to admit I dont think Dwarf Puffers are your best option, the general rule is 1 DP per 5 gallons though in well planeted situation you may be able to manage more - but why not go for a group of South American Puffers, true fresh water puffers that get to a reasonable size that you can have some carefully selected fish with :) They do best in groups but need to be fed masses and masses of snails to keep their beaks in good conditions.

is there a way to breed snails for them to eat?

yep, put a few in a small tank :) and pluck them out once a good population has built up :)
