I currently have a 35 gal with only a betta & a few corys.
I have a 55 gal tank on the way.
I wanted to put Angels in it.
What are they compat with?? And staying on the min side whats a good number to stock this tank with?

most tropical live bearers will be fine longs its not somethink they will eventually fit in there mouths ....not sure wot u mean by good number 2 stock u refering 2 angels or total stock list ???

Angels are nice in pairs and a pair might be the nicest thing, even for a big 55 gallon. A 55 US gallon tank, from our nice conservative rough guideline, would call for about 45 or 50 inches of fully mature fish body. In other words you need to look up the writeups for each individual type of fish you want and determine what size people think it will average when its fully grown and then add them all up. Once you get to be a very experienced aquarist with a lot of expensive filters, you may decide you want to push this rule some and have more fish but for most normal people its much, much better to be guided by it. Coming in with even somewhat less fish than the guideline is even better as it give you more leeway during power outages and other unexpected things.

theres a fair bit compatible with a lot, ive had luck with gouramis, severums, sharks, etc..

I currently have a pair of angels in a 55 gallon with
a gold gourami
5 zebra danios
3 'ocelot' danios
a pair of german blue rams
synodontis nigriventris

you can get rainbowfish
cories
pleco (some are poop machines and get really big)
swordtails
mollies
larger rasboras and tetras
probably some more but can't think of anything else at the moment...

no guppies, neon tetras, or tiger barbs

Also keep angels as 1, 2 (a pair) or 6+ otherwise you will have problems.
