Behind a little bubbling cave.
OK, this is a stocking list for 50 gallons. Is it alright?

30 neons/head and tail light tetras
12 dwarf cats/6 platies
4 ramirezi cichlids
3 honey gouramies
Is it alright?

i would say overstocked but if you add some good filtration it might be ok. i wouldn't add anything else

rams rend to bully gouramis, exspecially a small one like a honey. i think its best to pick between the two for a community tank. their both great fish, with lots of personality.

with adiquate filtration you could do something very similar to my plans for my 52 gall
1 Bristlenose,
6 Adolfi Corys,
A pair of Kribs (maby, im not sure about them),
4-8 Empiror tetras,
and some small schooling fishi quite like Endlers and Glowlight danios as they only grow to 1"

Small shoaling fish basically tetras, barbs, danios, rasboras or similar around 2 inches or less.

OK, I think I'll stick with the rams. Ok, a revised list:

30 neons/head and tail light tetras
12 dwarf cats/6 platies
4 ramirezi cichlids
4 Bristlenose catfish

How does this go?

Hi jourdy288 :)

C. hastatus are very small, and rather delicate little fish. They would not do well with cichlids. You would probably do best to pass them by.

Hi jourdy288 :)

The C. pygmaeus and even the C. hastatus are pretty much the same as the C. habrosus when it comes to size. They are all small and delicate. Of the three, the C. pygmaeus is the most frequently found.

Look at the difference in size between the C. pygmaeus and even the C. pandas, which are among the smaller full sized corys:

The best you could hope for, in a community that includes large or aggressive fish, is that they will go into hiding.
