Hi

Just wondering if anyone can suggest why all 5 mollies have died in 2 days :(. All other fish are fine and the fry are perfect. they seemed to swim upside down for a while then just die . I've had my tank over a month it is certainly not overstocked. I dont yet have a water testing kit so am unable to get stats however, my lfs said it was perfect when tested. Please help!

First thing to rule out is bad water quality.

So need water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

How many gallons is the tank.
How many fish and which type.

Take a sample of your water to the lfs and ask them to write the readings down for you.
I would also suggest you buy some liquid test kits of your own, as not all lfs are to be trusted.

For now water change and increase aeration.

Thanks a lot for your replies I did what you said and no more fish have died all are absolutely fine and healthy.
I think it may have been a bad batch considering i bought them all from the same tank at the same time at least i have my fry to contend with.

Ok.
Keep preforming water changes till you no your water stats.
Good Luck.
