5 Guppies But Which One First

i have 5 guppy females all close to giving birth all stating to square off but i am trying to figure out which is closest to giving birth.. i can see the frys eyes in all five but some have a nearly jet black gravid spot where as some are light but i can clearly see pairs of eyes.. what i am wondering is. is it the darker ther gravid spot the closer to delivering they are?

Yes i think the darker it gets the closer to dropping,although my yellow guppy wasn't very dark when she dropped hers

thank u. i have one that is very dark and sluggish compaired to the other and she is the one i would have picked but i just wondered if it was a rule of thumb that the darker it is the bigger they fry so the closer she was to giving birth

All fish are different in behaviour,my guppies hide up near the top by the filter pipe when they're getting close to drop.

yeah i think so but they have to take there chances in my rank lol only the fit and fast survive

My own experience tells me to favor the female that has squared off the most and ignore colors. It is not that I believe that color is not an indicator but some of my fish never do have a color change because they do not have transparent skin.
