5 gallon ideas

I have a convict in a 5 gallon right now (no need to freak out, its temporary), but once the convict is out of my 5 gallon what should i put in there? Ive been thinking guppies which was my OG stocking when i got the 5 gallon 2 years ago (and my first tank) but it has changed since then.

Hello. You could add a few male Guppies. But, no females. Breeding fish in such a small tank will be a problem. The tank is too small to keep the water clean enough to keep the fish healthy.

Here are some stocking ideas:

As 10 Tanks mentioned, a few male guppies
1 Betta fish (Try to go for a female or Plakat)
7 chili rasboras

You can also make this a shrimp tank, and you can add shrink to all of these stocking ideas. Also make sure your water parameters are still for the type of fish.
