5/10 Gallons On Regular Table?

Is a 5 gallon or 10 gallon too much weight for a regular wooden computer table?

if it's any help in your calculations 1 litre of water weighs 1 kilogram, so the water in a 10 gallon tank weighs 37 kilo's then add a couple more on for the tank itself, substrate, decor etc

most new furniture will have a weight rating for how much it can take.

I have a 3 foot tank on an old computer desk I modified slightly to fit things underneath it. Aslong as it has sturdy legs and a back to help support it then it should be fine. Mines taking roughly 150KG with water,gravel etc. Try sitting on your desk and if it doesnt collapse its fine!

Im sure if it can take your weight it can take a 5/10 gallon tank
