Hi guys, thought i would post some full tank shots of my two "show" tanks (meaning the only ones that have mixed species, no breeding fish, and are in the lounge)
First off is my 40g Mbuna, It currently has 6 Labidochromis Hongi,4 Labidochromis Caeruleus,1 OB Peacock,1 Mystery Pseudotropheus and 3 B-nose plecs.

And now onto my 20g Community. It has 1 Bolivian Ram,1 Apistogramma Nijsseni, 1 Pearl Gourami, 5 Pristilla Tetra, 6 Neon tetra and 3 Harilquin Rasbora(abit much for the tetra, i know, but the pristilla were ment to be dithers for my keyholes, and then they started getting attacked when they were breeding so got danios for the keyholes and put the tetra in this tank.)

a black background on that 1st tank would really bring out the colours of the fish......

Thanks GS :)

Unfortunatly i cant get to the back of the tank, (its in a shelve). But the next time i move it, im spray painting black onto the the sides and onto the back :)

do you plan to spray paint it whilst the tank is empty?
I hope so because there will be no way of preventing the
aresol spray from getting in the tank.
Painting it with a paint brush or roller will be far better all round.

Hey just had an
lightbulb.gif
why not use a radiator paint roller to paint the tank insitue?
they are long handled rollers designed to paint behind
radiators without haveing to move the rad of the wall.

Yes, when i move the tank, i plan on taking the fish out and when i do, ill spray paint.. or as you suggested, paint roll
I'll be moving the tank soon anyway so wont need to get the radiator paint roller
Thanks for the suggestion though and will use it on future tanks
