I recently gave my convicts to my dad because he loved thier antics. Guess Early Father's day present .. Anyway All thats left in my tank is 6 cories which they are currently loving swimming all over the tank like nutballs, fun to watch. Anyway I've been trying to figure out what to add to my tank now, I've been thinking of having a set of tetras of some kind. My problem is I can't figure out what to add for the main event heh.. I was thinking angelfish or something like that. Any ideas would be appreciated, its been a while since I bought new fish.

yeah, you could do angelfish, not too sure how many you could have though

you may even be able to do discus

If i was you I would look into an amazonian biotope

Thanks for the advice, but discus are way out of my price range and the biotope is a neat idea but I don't have the time nor patience for plants. Those pencilfish are neat looking though... Sometime to ponder about..

I've been thinking of a couple fish I could add, I was either thinking (2 Angelfish, 10 Black(Skirt of Phantom) Tetras; or getting some Cardinal or neon tetras but I can't seem to figure out what goes with those besides other tetras. I know Angelfish can't go with them. If anyone has anything to addon or any suggestions/ideas. Please tell. Thanks.

you don't have to do plants at all, in fact I think there aren't any plants where angels 'live'

maybe a small school of dwarf rainbowfish with a pair of angels
