hey all

im thinking about a betta for my newly set up 40 liter tank is this sized tank good for a betta?

also regards to feeding are the commercial betta foods good staple diets supplemented by frozen bloodworm?

i did a quick search of the forum and google but wanted to check with the experts

cheers all

Just the betta? He'd love it in a 40 litre tank.

I feed mine on atisons pellets as the staple. Once a week he gets a pea - a deshelled cooked pea all squashed up. And at intervals during the week, instead of pellets he gets frozen food. It varies - bloodworm, daphnia, brine shrimp - I thaw a cube out and put some in all my fish tanks, not just the betta's. Don't feed bloodworm too often to a betta, it's not good for them (it 'blocks them up').

aye just for the one :)

might try give loads of cover and have a few shrimp in there doubt they would last though lol

thanks for the reply
