4 Foot Planted

Here is my first tank, currently stocking 12 rummy nose tetra and many great pond snails which will soon be transfered into the pond when they get a bit bigger! planning on adding red cherry shrimp, pitbull plec's, elephant/rabbit snails and some guppies as time goes on and that will be my full stocking

Nooo shallow is better! Enables you to do more creative scapes i think. Personaly i'm looking at getting a custon built tank L48"xD12"xH12" =] Suppose it depends what you want to do with the tank really.

I like this tank. What lighting specs are you using?

tbh even if it was less shallow you wouldnt have been able to get a knife fish, they need something like 100-200 gallons (cant remember right now)

Tank looks great, can i ask what substrate your using ?
